Called the City of Wine, the town boarders some of the most important wine districts in Italy - Monferrato, Langhe and Roere.

Located between Alba and Asti, you will find it to be the perfect place to explore all of Piedmont. From the Ligurian Sea to the Alps, nothing is all that far away.

There are several excellent restaurants in town to choose from when you wish to dine out, and plenty of places to foodshop when you plan to cook at the villa instead.

Costigliole d'asti
Is the neighbour town to Castagnole delle Lanze. Even though Sorella is visible on the other side of the valley from Casa della volpe it is located in Costigliole d'asti.
The main feature of Costigliole d'asti is the th Castle that dates back to the 1300's and became a millitary strong hold in the 1600's. Today the castle is used for a culinary school and the Barbera festival.
